Hi! I'm Emily.

As a freelance photographer, I am based in Southern Ontario. I’ve had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. My first memories include taking my dad’s old DSLR camera and taking photos of horses around my barn as well as my dogs and even candid photos of scenery. I’ve been riding horses since I was ten years old and currently own a 21 year old paint gelding Jim.

Combining my passion for horses with photography has made for the best job possible. I started my photography business in 2015. It all began from photographing a local schooling show for my friends and being asked for photos by people around the show. At that moment I knew this pursuit was for me!

I used to just take photos for fun and never really thought about having my own business until that schooling show. I have been taking photos for clients ever since. I often attend local schooling shows, Hunter or Jumper, in the Durham Region as well as the South East Trillium Circuit photographing friends and others in the Jumper ring. I also provide clients with portrait sessions capturing the bond between equine and person.

Since I started my business I have been featured in the Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF) 2016 winter issue of WOAH! magazine. I have also been the official photographer for Edenview Equestrian Centre at their schooling shows in 2016 and 2017. Finally, my latest accomplishment has been to be featured on a tub of Horsey Bits’ peppermint treats.

I can’t wait to hear from you and hear about your photography needs! I am always looking forward to new and different ideas when it comes to my photography. Please visit my contact page to book your photo session or to let me know what horse show you plan to attend.
